Ada Connected App Data and History
Ada uses the conversation where someone asks for help. Send Ada only content that belongs in the request.
What Ada Uses By App

What Stays In Lovelace
Disconnecting an outside app removes that app's access path. It does not delete Lovelace-owned conversations, Library resources, or account history.
This matters when a teammate disconnects Slack, Linear, GitHub, Discord, or email and still expects to see their Lovelace history in another Ada client.
Shared Threads And Other People
Be careful when Ada is added to a shared channel, issue, pull request, Discord channel, or email thread. Ada uses the visible conversation to answer the request.
For email, Ada only sees messages sent to Ada. Forwarding one thread or copying Ada on one conversation does not give Ada access to the rest of a mailbox.
Practical Rule
Before asking Ada for help, ask:
- Is this the right app conversation?
- Are the right people included?
- Is the content appropriate for Ada to use?
- Does the answer belong here, or does it belong in a direct conversation?
