Manage Ada App Connections
Use this guide when you administer where Ada appears for your team.
What Admins Manage
Admins manage the connection and the places Ada answers:
| App | What admins manage |
|---|---|
| Slack | The connected Slack workspace, Ada's Home tab settings, and whether Ada remains connected. |
| Linear | The connected Linear workspace and whether Ada answers issue work there. |
| GitHub | The organization or repositories where Ada is installed. |
| Discord | The servers and channels where Ada is allowed. |
| Whether Ada is reachable by email and whether proactive email continues for an address. |
Review After Setup
After setup, confirm:
- The right Lovelace workspace is connected.
- The right outside workspace, server, organization, repository, or email address is involved.
- Ada can pass the first check from the relevant app guide.
- Teammates know where to ask Ada for help.
- The team understands how to turn the connection off.
Turn A Connection Off
Turning a connection off stops Ada from answering in that outside app. It does not delete Lovelace-owned conversations, Library resources, or account history.
Use the app-specific guide for the exact admin surface:
Reconnect
Reconnect from Lovelace or the outside app's admin surface. People do not need to recreate Lovelace accounts or Lovelace-owned history after reconnecting.
